The November, 1937 issue of Arts&Decoration has an illustrated article about Lauritz Melchior(the opera singer) and wife in their Danish 3000 acre home, named Chossewitz. The are enthusiastic antique collectors and this is evident in the many black and white photos here. There is info about his opera career also. The article about Venitian Glass tells about the transition from traditional to modern. This short 2 page article has 5 pictures with a variety of items from a delicate tree centerpiece to figurines of Italian women in ethnic costume. The magazine is in good shape, with expected yellowing very minimal. Someone did make a red checkmark with a pencil on the house pictured on the cover. The back is smudged a bit.
