Darling and very rare 11" composition Shirley Temple doll. All original, including her crisply pleated dress, original romper onesie, original perfect socks, original shoes with working snaps (one snap has been secured) and I have added a full white petticoat for fullness. Doll is marked "11 SHIRLEY TEMPLE" at back of head and "SHIRLEY TEMPLE 11" at back of torso. This doll is almost completely craze-free ~ only a tiny dimple & very minor crazing at one arm. She has a filled crack at top & bottom of one eye (hard to notice) ~ and both sides of torso have been filled and sealed at the mold lines. There is one small line below mouth. (Other lines are just hair lines.)Doll has been professionally cleaned and restrung and can stand alone (not recommended!) Her original mohair wig is just wonderful with all her original curls and even has her original hair ribbon. She also has her original face painting, which is just wonderful! And, those eyes are perfectly blue tin eyes! (Eyes tend to stick a little.) Her crispy pleated dress still has uniform pink color ~ the collar has some age coloring that is not too obvious. Dress has the original ribbons at bodice front and at both sides to hold up the arms.
