11 FRANCISCAN DESERT ROSE 1947 CALIFORNIA MCBEAN DINNER PLATES 10 5/8" This is auction for set of 11 hand painted dinner plates measuring 10 5/8" in diameter by Franciscan Ware McBean Made in California "Desert Rose" pattern stamped in black round trademark “Franciscan Ware Hand Painted Made in California U.S.A.” used from 1939 to 1949. These pieces are painted entirely by hand from the best artist of Franciscan company according to the Gladding McBean website. Color is bright on these pieces with no cracks, crazing or gray marks. These lovely pieces would a wonderful addition to your Franciscan "Desert Rose" collection. I have a lot of "Desert Rose" auctions listed this week including very rare pieces.
