ITEM: You are bidding on 11 issues of the "Weekly Reader". These were issued to school kids as a sort of grade-school newspaper. They were fillled with interesting articles and usually had some sort of famous face on the front page. They were printed on newspaper stock and these measure 8-1/2 by 11-1/2 inches. They contained 8 pages and all the issues except two are from 1971 (2 are from 1972). is a list of the faces on the front page: Jonathan Frid (of Dark Shadows fame), Barry Williams (Brady Bunch), Arthur Ashe (tennis great), Lily Tomlin (comedian and actress), Jonathan Winters (comedian and TV star), Peggy Fleming (skating star), David Cassidy (Partridge Family "heart-throb"), Clarence Williams III (Mod Squad), Glen Campbell (country musician), Donny Osmund (he so cute!!!), the 1972 Presidential Candidates (including Pat Paulsen... hahaha). CONDITION: GOOD ... (light wear and aging as typical with newspapers, the Glen Campbell issue has moderate to heavy wear). TERMS: Shipping to be determined after sale according to ZIP (approx. 1 lb).
