French dolls have long been favorites of porcelain doll makers. These dolls were adored by little girls 100 years ago and are highly valued today. B�b� dolls were first made around 1875, with articulated, unbreakable composition bodies proportional to a child's. This new doll was called B�b�, as opposed to the fashion doll, Poup�e. This is "NOT" a finished doll. It is soft fired greenware and needs to be cleaned, fired, painted, & assembled.The picture illustrates what the doll may look like after completion. Greenware is "NOT PRE-POURED" but is poured to order! 11" Steiner Kahlie Millette Head SFGW Precious bebe from around 1890 by J.N. Steiner. Marked: Paris, Le Parisien A 19. Pierced ears.
