RARE VERY OLD C 1899 VICTORIAN QUADRUPLE SILVERPLATE PICKLE OR CELERY CRUET ????? with cranberry insert and lid. The frame is from Pairpoint Manufacturing Company It is quadruple silverplate and has the "P" in the diamond shape mark on the bottom. It also has the #800 on the bottom of the frame. I'm not sure but I think Pairpoint Mfg. Company was founded in 1880 and made silver products until 1894. The frame seems to be very well intact. I find no loose pieces. Seems solid. I was told the insert is inverted coin dot pattern. The bumps point to the inside of the insert. Please tell me if you know otherwise. Silver plate frame measures: about 6 1/2" tall 3 3/4" wide, wing to wing opening is 3" wide Cranberry insert measures: 5 1/4" tall Frame and Insert measures: 9 1/2" tall The lid was with this set, but I'm not sure if it is original. Beautiful ornate piece!! I am not a dealer or in the antique business. I am selling for a lady who has had to go into a nursing home and tfore must part with her beloved antiques. I am not an expert but I will describe them to the best of my ability and I do my best to take excellent pictures.
