From the estate of 3 generations of optometrists, I'm offering this lot of 12 vintage plastic eyeglass, or sunglass, frames. From the top left in my main photo, we have: 1) A tan frame that doesn't have a maker's name. Printed inside the stems is "CAPRICE 56-14" on one stem and "140MM TAUPE FADE" on the other. This pair does not have any lenses. 2) A Silver Dollar multi-color frame. Printed inside is "SILVER DOLLAR 130" and "PENNY COLOR #3 130". The nosepiece has "55-15" incised across the bridge. This pair has plastic demo lenses. 3) A Univis brown and clear frame. Printed inside is "140 Univis U.S.A." on one side and "CHT ILLUSIONS 866 140" on the other. The nosepiece has "54-15" incised on one side and "UF866" on the other. This pair has plastic demo lenses. 4) A Charmant gray and clear frame. Printed inside is "Charmant 4690 POLY FLEX 140MM" on one side and "COLOR-CG FRAME JAPAN 140MM" on the other side. The nosepiece has "57-12" on one side. This frame has plastic demo lenses. 5) (Center top) A Pathway mottled green, brown, & clear frame. Printed inside is "USA MISSY CRISSY Pathway 140 TEAL" on one side. This pair does not have any lenses. 6) A Regency Eyewear pale yellow and clear frame. Printed inside is "Regency Eyewear U.S.A. 140" on one side and "Amy Honey Rose" on the other.
