Vintage illuminated globe with wooden base . Globe measures 12" in diameter and approx 17" height. Manufactured by Replogle, this globe is part of the World Premier Series with a working 15 W light and switch, raised topographical features and made in USA , LeRoy M. Tolman Cartographer. It appears this was manufactured circa 1960. With the light on, this globe glows with beautiful warm colors . By day, the 3-D relief of the world's mountain ranges can be seen in detail. T his globe is in good working condition and shows some signs of yellowing from age and/or use of the light feature, perfect for antique lovers.
