A 1/1200 scale resin model from a Len Jordan casting of the Ellerman cargo liner 'City of Melbourne' built Linthouse in 1959. In a departure from previous Ellerman ships this one was designed with the accommodation three quarters aft and it made a very attractive vessel. Built for the Australian trade she was later switched to South African routes and renamed 'City of Capetown'. She was broken up in Taiwan in 1979. This lovely hand painted and nicely rigged model from my collection is, at approx 5.5 inches long, is to the same scale as the Triang Minic range but is much more detailed and will make an excellent addition to your collection.
