This auction included both items as a set. Beautiful rustic country vintage chic. You are buying a little bit of London's victorian history with these two items. They are both crafted from authentic pitch pine from a 'real size' church pew. Of which this miniature pew here is a replica, but made from victorian timber. Painted a very light putty shade of cream. Distressed and waxed aged shabby chic finish. Would look delightful within a country, vintage or shabby chic miniature collection or dolls house interior. Perfect dining bench or hallway bench or just charming additional extra seating in any room of your dolls house. Would also look wonderful as a dolls house outdoor- or garden feature. Both items would suit a 1/12th scale interior. But they are hand crafted individual pieces, so please a gentle reminder to study the measurements with care to assure they will suit your dolls house interior and display in the way you hoped. The church pew features a high T & G backrest, classic shaped ends, a one piece seat and a hymn book shelf on the top. It looks very much like the full size high-back pews we have reclaimed from the victorian church in Bow, London. The foot stool is made like they would have done in the olden days with its legs crafted into the seat to give extra strength. ~ Would make a delightful addtion to any dolls house or miniature collection ~ These two charming items have been used for a little display, but are not needed any longer. They are sold as pre-loved, but are still in lovely condition. Both items are in Excellent vintage & pre-loved condition. Charmingly rustic. Which is a large part of these item's unique charm and vintage shabby chic look appeal. Sweetest victorian pitch pine items. Measurements: ~ Church Pew ~ 8.2cm wide x 3.4cm deep x 7.8cm high height from floor to seat 3cm ~ Footstool ~ 3cm wide x 2.1cm deep x 1.5cm high We had them crafted to a 1/12th scale, but please take a moment to study the measurements to assure these items fit well into your arrangement & display.
