Up for auction is a LARGE Italian vase , marked with a blue and silver foil label used by the firm Fratelli Toso ( see FIFTIES GLASS by LESLIE PINA, page 171 ). This vase stands 13 1/2 inches in height and has a diameter of approximately 6 1/2 inches; it is a thick walled, multi - layered vase with an inner layer of gold foil and red vertical stripes. Note the one photo that shows a closeup of the red stripes , and the shadow they cast on the inner layer of glass. (Good illustration of the thickness of the walls.) This vase is in great condition , with no chips , cracks, or repairs. T are a couple very minute nicks or gnat bites on the inside edge that may be from the finishing grinding and polishing. Barely noticeable even to the touch of your finger; the size is less than 1/16 of an inch. Item guaranteed as described, but please email with any questions.
