Description For your consideration is a Daily comic issued on May 13, 1968 by King Features Syndicate and measures 26 ½” by 12 ½” . This is a Walt Disney Original Art Comic Daily Strip of Donald Duck and is a One-of-a-Kind Original . History: The Walt Disney Original Daily Comic Strips, Newspaper Comic Art or Sunday Comics are done by artists at Walt Disney studios in Burbank, California. Both the daily strip and Sunday pages are produced in black white. The color is added to the Sunday papers by engravers. The Donald Duck daily strip made its debut in February 1938 followed by the Donald Duck Sunday page December 1939. How Acquired: This collection was purchased from the Walt Disney Gallery in Hamburg, Germany (Cels Galerie). Every strip has been professionally framed and perfectly preserved in its original condition. These have not been tampered, retouched or restored. Some of the strips show light foxing around the edges and corners. Most have pencil marks, arrows, lines, writing, corrections, or notes specific to the format prior to publication. Most if not all of these comic strips feature the original art work of Al Taliaferro.
