This listing is for a 13" tall STEIFF 5-way jointed mohair bear that was made by Margaret Strong. He is cream colored with cream colored soft leather paws & feet pads, black eyes with a black stitched nose & mouth and black stitched digits on his paws & feet. The leather pads have age darkened in places, and his fur also has a few discolored spots here & there. There is one in particular beneath his chin on his upper chest, and one on his lower abdomen area that's about the size of the end of an eraser. These look much worse in the pictures than they do in reality. He needs a cleaning, but I'm pretty certain these will clean off with the right cleaner. I have not tried at all & will leave this to the new owner. He has the original gold Steiff button in his left ear along with the black & white cloth tag that reads in part Steiff #0158/31. The back reads Made in W. Germany Coll Ed.1985. The tag is discolored. He has a growler that works if you shake him, but it's a weak growl, and he has his hump on the upper back. He's completely odor free. Thanks for viewing him.
