These are wonderful WWII love letters sent home from a sailor in the Navy who must have been on a carrier since he was in Hawaii, San Diego, and San Fransisco. These are very endearing especially with the hand done cartoons (which he was very good at). These are not Mom's but may have come from someone she knew or she picked up along the way. He was terribly home sick, and missed his loved ones very much. The cartoon of the sailor running is suppose to be him running to mail call. These date to 1940 to 1944. T is one with a Service Men's Club letterhead with Navy ships. They all have their original envelopes as well. We will be listing more in the next few days.
