WELCOME TO SALLY'S DIARIES:This is going to be another group of diaries that I wish I had more time to read and research but there are so many in this lot and our author, Earle Sutherland Heald, wrote extensively and because of that I'll be listing them without quoting. I'll let the buyer discover his secrets and other valuable information that's written between the pages.What I can do is tell you some details about the diaries themselves and the author. First off there are 14 diaries and they date as follows:1918, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1935, 1936, and 1937. The way these diaries work is that the diarist writes his daily entries on the left hand side of the page and then on the right side are his expense entries. There are entries for every day of the year, give or take just a handful of blank days. Probably less then 20 between the 14 diaries.Earle was born on December 19 th , 1887 in Lincolnville Maine to the parents of Charles H. and Margery Ellen (Young) Heald. He had four brothers and at one point in his life he moved to Somerville Massachusetts. Not sure when that was but the 1900 census records show him still in Lincolnville and then the 1910 census records show him in Somerville Massachusetts.
