This auction is for a 3 Knot 14k Gold Elephant Hair Bracelet - the actual knots are wrapped in genuine 14k Gold Filled wire. These pieces are unique and are not sold anyw else on Ebay or the world - you can genuinely see how these stand out compared to all others sold on eBay. We have been selling Elephant Hair Bracelets in Africa for several years, so you can be assured these bracelets are not only genuine but they have been crafted to a professional standard by African craftsmen who have many years experience. It's hard to believe but the pictures don't do the actual pieces justice - they really are beautiful pieces of African Jewellery. The Bracelets that are being auctioned are made from Genuine African Elephant Hair and genuine 14k Gold Filled wire. The hair comes from the elephant's tail (as seen in the pictures in our other auctions) and is collected by locals throughout the National parks in Southern Africa . As the hair is collected once it has fallen off the elephant, we do stress that no harm tfore comes to the elephant during the collection of the hair. The Elephant Hair Bracelet legend dates back several hundred years within the African tribes. It was and still is believed that wearing the bracelet will protect one against harm, sickness and misfortune. The knots on the 3 Knot bracelets represent the Earth, Nature and Sun. The knots seen in the pictures are adjustable, which generally allows the bracelets to fit any size wrist. If you are uneasy with the one size fits all approach, please let us know if your wrist size is Small, Medium or Large and we will be more than willing to post off the appropriate bracelet. Please be aware that Elephants are protected by an international controlled convention (CITES environment) and no elephants are harmed or affected in anyway during the collection of the hair. The Elephant hair, that we make these bracelets with is bought through a controlled and approved government department within South African and require no permit in order to export out of South Africa .
