Flower Basket Pendant This is a stunning 14k gold pendant. It consists of a circular disk with an applied basket full of flowers. The disk has circular grooves and dots engraved in it to give some texture and sparkle. The basket is twisted gold wire, very finely done, with a bow on the top. The 'flowers' are prong set real jewels: pearls, rubies, sapphires and a single emerald. The rubies are more pink than red. Two of the sapphires are very dark and the other two are a shade lighter. The emerald is a medium green and is not cloudy. It is large, 1-3/8" in diameter. It weighs 12.6 grams. It is marked on the back with the letter 'D' inside a wreath and '14K'. The disk was tested to verify gold content. The gems were tested on a Presidium gem tester. I am not a jeweler. I based the gems on the hardness results. There are lots of minor scratches on the back from use, but the front is in excellent condition.
