Crafted from lightweight iron, this porthole mirror features a fully functioning porthole with authentic looking rivets around the outside. It measures 15 inches in diameter with a mirror that is about 9.5 inches in diameter. It is easily installed onto any wall, and it's rich dark finish will be a great addition to any home, office, or boat. Portholes are small windows used on the hull of the ship to allow for the flow of light and air. Historically, below-deck quarters have been dark and damp places. Portholes allow for crew and passengers to be protected from water and air in stormy weather, and allow them much needed fresh ocean air and views of the sea.
