These 15 inch Magnavox speakers were pulled from a large Baldwin tube speaker cabinet. One of them has a small tear in the cone (speaker epoxy will fix it) though it works fine the way it is. They both work and sound as they should. They are both 8 ohms, and would make a good Leslie speaker for anyone that’s looking for an 8 ohm speaker rather than the stock 16 ohm speaker in a leslie cab. Having owned a Jensen P15N I can say that the alnico magnet design is very similar to the Magnavox organ speaker magnet. Since listing these speakers I have recieved emails regarding the affiliation between Magnavox and Jensen during the 50's. I have read earlier Magnavox ads on stating that Jensen did some speaker work with Magnavox in the 50's, long after Peter Jensen sold Magnavox in 1924. If anyone has more information about this, I would really like to know. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments.
