This auction is for 1500 pennies (face value $15) datedbetween 1959 and 1981. These are circulated coins, some almost new and some well worn (all dates readable), packed in 50¢ rolls. Pennies of these dates are 95% copper and 5% zinc. The metal in these pennies has a melt value of about $40 (as of May 20: 2.7¢ per penny with copper @ $4.10 per pound and zinc @ $0.97 per pound. Note that at this time, it is illegal to melt US pennies). Ship via USPS Priority mail small flat rate box. No international orders. Sales tax for California buyers.
