FIRST ZURICH EDITION and second Latin edition of Strada's important work first published in Lyon, 1553, with a French edition appearing only a month later. Strada used coins from his own huge collection for the cuts. Strada's (1507-88) chronicle lists the rulers of the East Roman and West Roman empires from classical antiquity to Emperor Charles
