This is an Original leaf/page from the Archbishop of Florence's "CHRONICOM " or "Summa Historialis" (an early World History), printed by Anton Koberger in Nuremburg, Germany on July 31, 1484. Folio size: 8" by 11 1/2". Two columns of Gothic type in black ink in Latin with versal indents and guide letters. The leaf is part of a three volume set--originally written by Anthony Pierozzi 1389 - 1459, Archbishop of Florence, Italy-- tracing world history, beginning with the biblical, pagan, and church history down to the 1400s. A Really GREAT "Incunabula" Leaf! (The word "incunabula" means "in the cradle" and refers to books printed during the first fifty years of printing, i.e. 1450 - 1500). Low beginning bid; or Buy-It-Now price! Buyers pays $3.95 S&H, extra for postage outside the U.S. ***Please scans. I am showing both sides of the leaf. This Leaf has some light staining (on one border) + a small nick/tear at one corner (neither of these "defects" impacts the quality of the leaf much at all).
