USAF, HGU-55/P (CE) Helmet with MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask with bayonets. This "Combat Edge" helmet is part of a tactical total pressure breathing system being used today in F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraft. The system improves high performance fighter pilot tolerance to high G maneuvers up to 9G's. This helmet is complete with dark visor by Gentex. There is not any indication of the size of this helmet as it is covered with padding inside helmet. It is in good used condition. Helmet was brought into my shop by a retired Colonel F-16 pilot. Included as bonus items: White skull cap and helmet bag. OD nylon Helmet bag is in good shape from normal handling. There is a quarter size wear hole in the outer nylon layer under one of the outside pockets.
