I bought this Hilda at the UFDC convention in 2001, but I am making room for some other dolls, so someone has to go! She has a sweet expression and beautiful blue eyes. You can see her markings in the photo below. Her sleep eyes are in great working order and her bisque is smooth and free of peppers or rubs.She has two hairlines on her head, but neither will be noticeable in a display setting. One starts above her left ear and extends down the jawline to her neck. The other starts above the right ear and extends down the jawline. Both have been reinforced. Her 5 piece toddler body is in very nice condition with its original finish and some touch up work to fingers. Her britches are sewn on, so I didn't photograph her bottom. She has a vintage or antique slip and an old (antique?) organdy dress, vintage human hair wig and newer shoes and socks. This sweetheart has been very popular with collectors and this one has received many compliments from visitors. If you have been wanting a Hilda for your collection but can't pay the $3500 perfect price- this is your girl! Please ask questions before the end of the auction.
