16 inch antique Armand Marseille doll, with bisque socket head. Has composition body and arms and legs. Doll has a beautiful face with blue glass sleeping eyes (which open and close freely) and four upper teeth. She is marked on the back of her head Made in GermanyArmand Marseille 390n. DRGM 246 A 1 1/2 M. This doll has a gorgeous human hair wig, with hairstyle original to the time (maybe original to this doll). The body of this doll was professionally repainted, and her right leg may have been restored in a doll hospital with museum quality restoration and paint (looks original). This doll is very well strung and is able to stand alone without support. The only flaw she has is a tiny paint rub on her left cheek. Her clothes were specially made for her, in her time period style. Her outfit is gorgeous, crisp and clean. Doll comes from non smoking home with no odor.
