16 pounds assortment of mahogany obsidian, volcanic glassPerfect for carving, flint knapping Etc.Two large chunks Obsidian was used by Native Americans as cutting instruments and arrow heads. To this date I understand that some surgeons prefer to use obsidian made scalpels.I obtained this material from estate liquidation. Although I am not familiar with names or variety of stones, I am relying on box labeling and friends who have some knowledge.This is a small, yet wonderful variety of lapidary material or specimens.Weight for this lot is approximately 16 poundsPictures are taken both dry and wet.
