This mold blown cruet features 16 ribs that sloop inward between the ribs. The ribs can be felt on both the interior and the exterior of the glass. The base is indented about 3/4 of an inch. The pontile is rough. The handle is applied. The cruet stands just under 8 1/4 inches tall. The base is approximately 4 inches in diameter. The handle is nearly an inch wide w it connects to the bottle at the top. The glass is clear. In fact, it is much clearer than it looks in the photos. My guess is that the contents of the glass or the angles of the ribs are causing all the extra refraction. T is wear on the base. T is also a small amount of light residue on the bottom 1/4 of the cruet. I have not tried to clean this piece. T is a stress fracture on the cruet w the lower part of the handle is applied. It runs at an angle for about 1 1/4 to the right of the handle. It then loops under the handle and shows less than 1/4 on the left of the handle. I tried to get a picture of it but it did not come out well (see photo 4. the white dot right next to the fracture is some impurity in the glass.) The tail on the applied handle is broken off.
