This anvil was just sold, but is being relisted because the buyer was unable to complete the transaction. If you missed it or got outbid, 's another chance to own this fantastic anvil. Matchlessantiques is offering collectors and smiths this Old English Style Blacksmith Anvil. This old anvil is very nice. It would make an excellent anvil for the shop. T are no repairs that I can see on this anvil. This style anvil was made prior to 1830 because it was originally made without a pritchel hole. This anvils pricthel hole is not factory original, it was added at a later date. T is no name on the anvil but it does have the weight marks "1 1 20" (which is the English Stoneweight for 160 lbs). See pictures. The measurements are: overall length 20", face 4 3/4" X 12 3/4", horn 7 1/4", height 11 1/8", hardy hole 11/16", pritchel hole 7/16", base 100" x 10 3/4", actual weight 159 lbs.
