Great stories and writing, Vassar Bushmills one of my favorite writers.)A very old book, I cannot find a print date, but can provide some history.It had belonged to a W Marshall Harston, 1802-1882, of Beavercreek Plantation, Henry County, Virginia, which explains how it ended up in Beaver Creek Library.I recently sold a leather book dated 1668, and the paper and printing were almost identical to this copy, so I'm guessing 17th Century. (see Vossius, below) .There are ink notes by the owner in Bellum Catinarium, and a very faint name and date May 20, 1833. All the doodles appear to be Mr Hairston's as well, from a younger age, perhaps.You can find Gaius Sallustius Crispus (86BC-35BC) on Google, and all his known works are included here, the Cataline War.
