Be sure to check out all of the other NWA meteorites that I currently have listed on ebay also. * FOSSIL EL3 METEORITE * This is one of the more exciting meteorites to come out of Morocco. It was originally classified as an Aubrite, then an EL6/7. There is still some discussion about the final classification but is most likely a fossil Enstatite EL3. It has lots of similarities to aubrites but some relict chondrules have been found in some samples thereby excluding possibility of an Aubrite classification. Found in Western Sahara and were excavated from a subsurface deposit and found were terrestrial rhyolite pebbles and sandy matrix. A rare example of a "Paleo" or "Fossil" meteorite. This is obviously (But not scientifically) paired with NWA 4295, 4415, 4416, 1067, 2736 and others. More than 3000 Kilos were found (Probably a LOT more than 3000 Kilos) although a large portion of it is tied up in a small number of collections. Probably the best price you will ever find on what is normally a very rare classification. Like a lot of Moroccan meteorites this meteorite has been all dumped on the market at once reducing the price. It is a massive find but will eventually read more
