1688-James 2nd guinea in very high grade, about GVF. It weighs over 8.1grms. Photographed in natural light. There is an edge flaw which is visible at 11 o'clock (barely shows on the reverse) where I can only assume it was detached from a loop. A much nicer coin in the hand than the photos show. I will try a realistic 'buy it now' or hope that I get decent bids. Your chance to buy a rare coin at a reasonable price that would cost you about £3000 without the anomoly. I should stress that the coin is a normal golden colour with a little toning, as the photos do make it look somewhat like silver! This follows a question from a 'watcher'.
