Collated and complete in four parts, each with a separate title page and pagination. Some misbinding, with leaf Gg4 before Gg3 in the second part, and quire (S) bound before quire (R) in the fourth part. Woodcut borders to title pages. Contemporary sheep (bound somewhat tightly), rebacked to match in recent brown calf, contrasting green morocco lettering pieces, gilt. Lacking clasps but with metal catches remaining to upper board. Several early ink inscriptions to FFEP, J. Butler 1738, with the gift inscription 'Ex dono Revd Poulsen Pastoris Ecclesiae Danicae Londini' and 'J.T Coleridge, March 5 1852, 31 Park Crescent': Rt Hon. J.T. Coleridge (1790-1876), English Judge and Privy Councillor, the nephew of Romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
