Vintage 17 1/2" tall all composition Bride Doll. Doll with original brown mohair wig, brown open and close eyes with brush lashes & lower painted lashes, single stroke eyebrows & red painted closed mouth. Her face has several light cracks/crazing in composition just around her eyes, she has been left as found, one could repair with crazing compound if desired. I felt she was beautiful the way she aged. She has a slimmer type composition body, her fingers are molded seperated, there is some cracks in composition in her hands but no missing digits. Her body does have top layer of composition missing on one side, see picture #5, plus between her legs molding has seperated see #6. Doll is strung with posable head, arms and legs. She has no maker's marks that I can find but probably dates from the 1930's-40's. She is dressed in what I believe to be her original outfit: vintage fragile simple satin bride's gown with long sleeves with seperate satin full slip, sleeveless with ruffled bottom under dress & white satin underwear. All her clothing originally was held in place with small safety pins, I have sewn snaps in place to close each item. She wears vintage white oilcloth tie shoes with tiny cut-outs on top of each shoe.
