Old Wyoming material from the 1970's during the hay days of Wyoming jade production. Came from Muddy Gap area along the Sweetwater River. This 17 lb. 5" x 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", I figure would cut about 20 slabs 5" x 5 1/2" worth about $10 to $15 each, Tfore my low reserve, a small amount per pound, just need to get part of that $200+ worth of slabs that this piece will produce. Even back in the 70's this would have sold at $10 per lb. easy. Don't sell, I will cut her up myself. Need at least a 12" saw on this old dog. This stone is for the most part fracture free a couple small white line fractures but small and not many. Color is black, the inclusions, like kind of fantom snow flakes (see photo #3) lighten up the black just a bit. I don't think the inclusions are magnatite, they do not give that silver reflection. Nice old material. As you can see this is saw cut on two sides and one end. Shipping flat rate priority $8.50, combine and save. This is of very good value and way below the $10 per lb. worth.
