PRICED VERY LOWVERY HIGH END PIPE BOWL SCRAPER TOOLOPIUM DEN ERATHIS ONE IS REALLY NICE!!1700'sDESCRIPTION:This is a WonderfulIron, Paktong,Copper and Wood Opium Pipe Damper Bowl Tool. This Higher EndScraperdates back to the later 1700's very, very early 1800's. The handle is madefrom hardwood.CONDITION: This VintageOpium toolis in Great condition forits age. This scraper tool was used to remove the Dross or ash from inside the damper bowl thatwould siton top of the opium pipe.The tool measures about 5 3/4" long. It has hand cut out decorative bands made of a metal called Paktong, Chinese Silver. The top and bottom of the handle also is enforced with copper bands. Authentic HIGHER END Opium Den Tools are getting harder to find now a days and if you are able to locate them the prices seem to keep going higher. We have seen Antique shops selling these for as much as $250.00. This is a great tool for a higher end layout.
