( Title page is dated as M DCC VL, however this can only be a misprint as this is clearly the Fouth Edition in Two Books as stated, the second containing 'Terra', 'Pomona', 'Acetaria' and Kalendarium Hortense' or the Gardners Almanack, each with their own title page and each dated 1706, also 1745 in Roman numerals is M DCC XVL). Full panelled calf with five raised bands, measuring 32cm x 22cm, [36], 1-384, [4], 275, [5] pp. Condition: Boards are bumped, scuffed, marked and worn, upper joint cracking, head and tail of spine chipped, boards are firmly attached, although upper board is slightly loose. Internally: lacks frontispiece, hinges have been strengthened, library stamp verso title page, end papers creased and a bit soiled, rear end paper repaired, 2 papes with small tears to margins, other than that, clean, tight and tidy throughout - Please refer to images and examine carefully.
