To keep it simple, this is a Gen bun gold bullion. It is the size of a dime and in fairly good condition for being around 270 years old. Still it is not in mint condition nor are these incredibly rare, though fairly uncommon. I had this coin evaluated by several dealers and all gave me the same positive response. The coin is worth about $100 as a coin but is worth only $30 - $40 in gold. This is good news for me because it reassures me that only a serious collector of coins will be purchasing this and not someone looking to melt it down. I my self happily payed $180 for this coin years ago right here on eBay but find myself needing to sell it. The starting bid has been set high to again ensure that only a serious collector buys the coin and not a gold scrapper. Shipping will be free with attention to security and delivery confirmation. You should have the item within one business week of winning the bid provided you live in the U.S., though some states seem to lag with mail.
