Mr. Henry Grove of Taunton London: Printed and Sold by James Waugh, at the Turk's Head in Gracechurch-street ~~1742-1747~~ ************************************** !! To See Our Facebook Photo Album of This Set with Over 100 Pictures, Including Closeups of Sermon Titles, Tailpieces, Signatures, Etc.... This is a rare set of books.... Currently we see only one odd volume for sale in the UK. No other set are available, and we've found no other sets in auction records. Henry Grove (1684-1738) was an English Presbyterian minister. Read this auction listing carefully! You won't find another set like it.... Octavos. Variously paginated. Volumes 2-10 of a 10 Volume Set. This set lacks Volume 1. Bound in original full leather with ribbed spines. Spines have a leather lettering piece with "Grove's Works" printed in gilt. Beneath the next panel is printed in gilt the Volume number. This is an ex-library set with shelf labels removed from the bottom of the spines (removed some time ago). There is a college bookplate on each pastedown for Wabash College bearing the logo "Scientiae et Virtuti". The bookplates appear to be early to mid 19th century. The college was founded in 1832, so this set could have been from the school'
