Some of contents include Outward Shape of Horfes with fome Remarks upon their different colours etc, Directions how to chufe a good Horfe, Of the good and evil Habits of Horfes, and their keepers, Common errors with relation to Food, Exercife etc, and an Account of the Prices of Drugs and Compounds when purchafed from the beft Hand etc. 'I well remember to have run a Mare fix years with only two Purges; neither had fhe an Ounce of any kind of Medicine during that Time, except ever Morn, and moftly every Evening, about the Bignefs of a Pidgeon's Egg.' 298 pages. 4 x 6.50 inches. Marking and wear to covers with pieces of covering missing and edges worn. Raised spine with label missing. Browning and marking to pages.
