This is a beautiful 18th century map of the continent of North America from 1747 as it was configured and known at that time created by one of the most important cartographers of his age, Emanuel Bowen. It is an interesting map with the northwest labeled "PARTS UNDISCOVERED" with the interior called "NEW FRANCE LOUISIANA". Other interesting features include topography and Indian Tribes. The size is 8' X 10'. It is in very good condition, no stains or toning, two folds as issued.
