For auction is a book printed in Edinburgh in 1759 comprising of four plays that were performed at the Theatre-Royal at Drury Lane. The four plays in the book are: 1) The Miser by Henry Fielding as adapted from Plautus and Moliere 2) The Provok'd Wife by Sir John Vanbrugh 3) The Recruiting Officer by George Farquhar 4) The Constant Couple or A Trip to Jubilee by George Farquhar The front cover of the book is detached and the back cover is frayed. See photos above. Otherwise , t he book is in fairly good condition for something older than the United States itself. The page binding is still in good condition and the there is very little to no spotting throughout the book.
