Four beautiful pages of engravings relating to the cultivation of vegetables published in 1771 in Denis Diderot's important and famous work "Encyclopedie" (see below) and entitled "Agriculture, Jardin Potager, Serres" (Agriculture, vegetable gardens and greenhouses)The illustrations show the following:Plate II.
