Francis, John. Sermons Preached on Several Occasions, at the Cathedral in Norwich, And at the Parish Churches of St. Peter's, Mancroft, and St. John's Maddermarket, In the said City. London: Thomas Miller, 1773. 12mo, quarter calf/marbled paper, worn at the top and bottom of the spine and the hinges splitting, but sound. Text in good condition, with a bookplate. Two volumes bound in one. 1, 26, xii, (4), 13-234; (8), 13-256pp [COMPLETE] JF (1700-1749) was Rector of Morley in Norfolk and minister at the Cathedral in Norwich. There is a sermon on "self murder" (suicide), one on war as a dreadful judgment of God and another on moderating passions like anger. 7" x 4 1/4"
