RARE 1780 NAPLES CAPODIMONTE SWAN SERVICE TEACUP SAUCER EXCEPTIONALLY RARE AND TRULY SUPERB PERIOD EXAMPLE. NR We are currently working on some very fine estates. (Be sure to scroll down past the photos for the full description of this auction) Up for auction is an Exceptionally Rare c1780 Naples Capodimonte Porcelain Swan Service Teacup and Saucer. The Teacup and Saucer are Truly Amazing examples, and I am sure pieces of this age Rarely come up for auction. I was told the Teacup and Saucer would date to the c1760-80 era. The Teacup and Saucer are Superbly Hand Painted throughout, and all the Scene, Foliage, and Bird Figures are Embossed out of the pieces showing the Amazing Period Quality. The Teacup and Saucer show some light wear to the gold gilt rims, but overall for there age are in Very Fine Untouched Original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Teacup measures 3 5/8 inches wide not including the handle, by 2 inches tall. The Saucer measures 6 1/8 inches wide.
