This item is a wonderful, original document dated 1788, where Jesse Truesdell, of Salem New York has sold to Thomas Vail a plot of land in Salem...signed on front by Jesse and Hannah Truesdell, Jesse Truesdell Jr. and Jonathan Truesdell. Signed on back by Ebenezer Purdy as justice of the peace.
