1788 VermontCopper. Ryder 21. Rarity-5. 124.6 grains. Very Fine/Fine, the reverse weaker than the obverse as usually found. Generally well struck, the obverse legend full, CT of AUCTORI weaker than the rest. The bust is fully outlined, with some detailing in the armor and hair, the face somewhat flat. The reverse legend is full, the letters not as sharp as those on the obverse, but visible, the date weak but can be made out. The seated figure is fully outlined, with good detail in the shield, not so much on the dress.
