This beautiful map is engraved by Samuel John Neele, published by G. Kearsley, London, 1797. Size: The map measures approx 19" x 14", (48 cm x 36 cm). Description: This is an original handcoloured antique map which is printed on one side only. The map is printed on good quality thick paper. This map is a genuine antique, 210 years old. The year of publication, (1797) is printed on the map. SAMUEL JOHN NEELE (1758-1824) Neele was an engraver of antiquarian maps and views. He worked at 352, Strand, London, England and among his patrons were Dugdale, Faden, Laurie, Leard, Playfair, Stackhouse and Thomson &c. Condition: The map is in good condition except for a crease. Origin: The map is from "Atlas to Crutwell's Gazetteer", published G. Kearsley, London, 1797. Shipping: Buyer to pay postage.
