SOME OF THE MOST ATTRACTIVE EARLY ENGLISH COINS WERE PRODUCED IN COPPER. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE ONE THAT IS MINTY AND SMOOTH CHOCOLATE BROWN WITH SOME GOLD HIGHLIGHTS. THIS IS A 1799 ENGLISH COPPER HALFPENNY OF KING GEORGE III. THERE ARE SEVERAL VARIETIES OF REVERSE REGARDING HOW MANYGUNPORT ARE ON THE VERY SMALL SHIP TO THE LEFT OF BRITANNIA. THIS ONE APPEARS TO BE 5 INCUSE PORTHOLES. GRADED BY NGC AS MS-64 BROWN, BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME MINT GOLD IN PLACES. SIMPLY LOVELY WITH GREAT DETAIL. A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S COLLECTION.I AM CURRENTLY LIQUIDATING MY LONGTIME COLLECTION TO MOVE INTO ANOTHER HOBBY, SO PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE.
