A rare and fine 17th Century embossed and engraved copper flagon. The flagon stands approx. 9 1/2in. tall and measures approx. 8 1/2in. wide. These Baroque works are considered to have been mostly created in Venice. This rare example is initialed and dated on the bottom. The date is clearly 1671. The inscription may read .C4. or .Ot. The flagon is in good overall condition with a dent in the decorative panel with the chalice. The surface was cleaned at some point in the past and has returned to a more aged patina. Guaranteed to be as described. If found to be significantly not as described within 7 days of receipt the purchase price will be refunded. SHIPPING POLICY, PLEASE READ!
