This is a total "UNIQUE" STUNNING SIERRA RS COSWORTH!! Its based on the one and only Red 3door built by ford...Rare. This is the one and only model, making it just as rare as the real thing. Like the real cars models where only ever made in moonstone,black and white. Vangaurds did do a 1/43 scale of the red one but please dont confuse this,thats much much smaller than 1/18,with very little detail. Dont believe me that ford did a "one off" red one like Dianas black S1? A quote from classic ford mag "Ford did produce one red 3 door cossie,Originally used for press coverage,the car was then loaned to the Duke of bedford,before being bought by racing driver Vince Woodman who still owns it". I've modified this model myself,as you probably know?? its not avalible to buy elseware.You cannot buy this model from any shop.If you want it, please get your bids in early.Dont leave it till the last minute when its gone its gone,i will not replicate my own cars.Its a one off! Ive been modelling for more than 30 years!!! :( Im a self employed professional panel beater and sprayer by trade,i own/work on these type of cars every day,I know these cars inside out, upside down ( literally ) Hence everything on this car is sooo right!! 1st off i bought a brand new,AUTOART model, Never been on display,only taken out the box to do the mods.It had to be the best,so it had to be AUTOART,far far better and more expensive than the poorly detailed minichamps version.Besides they have the wrong 500 front bumper.Carfully Stripped of every part,Filled in some unwanted holes then prepped, primed and painted as I would a real car, in a real car spray booth,with real car FORD ROSSO RED paint.Then all baked off.Looks superb,very glossy (none of this dull sinking aerosole rubbish:) ENGINE:Fully detailed autoart COSWORTH,Fully detailed cosworth running gear,even a bonnet stay.(boot dont) INTERIOR:Superb unbelievable spot on detail."real feel" carpets and red fleck seats,uk RHD RS dash, 3 spoke Steering wheel,opening fabric parcel shelf,boot carpet etc etc!! Exterior:High gloss Period correct ROSSO RED,satin black detailing,autoart bumpers, grill and even bonnet vents,are all separate from the shell,unlike minichamps, there all part of the cast making this much more realistic,also added bonus,side mouldings,side repeaters seperate door handles,tailgate washer,formed ford badges etc, so much detail !!!!! WHEELS: I couldn't resist fitting highly polished "real alloy" 15" style custom made cosworth centred wheels,with Lovely treaded real rubber low profile tyres (or i can fit pic 9, the original autoart wheels for more original look) your choice at end of auction??? Also fitted a not too big "real alloy" back box to make it a bit more special too! Please note; the correct "D" plate number plate will be added when posted.Tonnes of research has gone into making this car as close as possible to the real thing! Or i can leave the RS SIERRA ones on?? your choice:) Wheels do not rotate,This is for show purposes only! This is not a toy,i advise that you handle it as little as possible,It is a big boys toy! listed as used,but is a brandnew model stripped then built as a "one off" then packed back into its original packaging,never been on display from a smoke free home.A one off,means this is the only one like it.i do not replicate my own models either.If this is the one you want then please bid.
